Pros and cons of Cisco app for iPhone and iPad
Cisco app good for
All information I need for my business with Cisco in a well designed app.... I like!
Great app! All it needs now is an option that will allow me to manage my router.
Its great to post in the support community now, since iPhone safari doest allow, but fix the "carriage return" so it saves and figure out why multiple paragraphs posted get inter mingled.
Fix the back so it returns to the community I was just in, not the main page.
Keep the Cisco iPhone apps coming! I really like the consolidated news and product info. Cant wait to see more from Show & Share, Pulse, and ECP.
Security alerts, new products, datasheets, access to support info, videos... You could spend hours using everyhing in this app.
Fabulous! Everything you need about Cisco right there in front of you. :)
Some bad moments
Disapointing application. Free yes, but not much more than a glorified advertisement. I was hoping for something like a portable configurator tool, or something akin to the old quick catalog that you could buy every six months, but instead its propaganda videos, links to the website (requiring javascript which Safari could not use) and Cisco stock quotes?? Please. Give us Cisco engineers/users something useful.
That says it all. I have a lot of confidence in Cisco on my network but this is not shared across my iPhone
This a terrible app, for one it keeps crashing and there is not much info regarding the Cisco stuff it self. This is more like Cisco advertising there line of products. I was not expecting this from Cisco. You can do better then that Cisco..
Not much more than a buggy front end to Cisco already broken web pages.
Its just a press release magnet. How is this different than browsing the Cisco website? Was hoping for a Cisco router remote admin tool.
Would be useful if I could open a tac ticket with this app. How about access to the community forums.
